I found this awhile ago when I was bloghopping.
If you’re a man and you’re wearing a pair of leather pants at this very moment and everyone around you seems completely cool with this reality, I’m afraid I have some bad news: you will die alone.
For decades, leather pants have been essential to rock ‘n’ roll-yet every man who has ever worn them has faced an existence of utter loneliness. Elvis Presley wore leather pants and was surrounded by sycophants and opportunists; Jim Morrison wore leather pants and was surrounded by drug dealers and hippies. Sebastian Bach wore leather pants and was surrounded by Skid Row. If you have the ability to effectively wear leather pants in public, you immediately have the potential to become a cultural icon…but you can’t have friends.
